How working together works

Terms

These are the terms for working with SoloBase. The specifics of any piece of work - what it includes, what it costs, when it is done - are set out in the proposal you receive before we start, and that proposal is what we both agree to. Last updated October 2026.

What is included

Every project, session or membership comes with a written description of what it includes and what it does not. If something is not in that description, it is not part of the work - ask, and it can be added.

Payment

The price and the payment schedule are in the proposal. Where a deposit is asked for, it secures the dates and is part of the total, not an extra.

Refunds

Whether a payment can be refunded, and under what conditions, is agreed before it is made and written into the proposal. Nothing is charged without that being clear first.

Ownership of the work

Who owns what is delivered, and from what moment, is stated in the proposal for that piece of work. Unless it says otherwise, delivered work is yours once it is paid for, and I keep the right to show it as an example of what I do.

Ending the arrangement

Either of us can end an arrangement. How much notice is expected, and what is owed for work already done, is set out in the proposal so there are no surprises on either side.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, use the contact page before we start - it is always easier to settle beforehand.
